So, i just wanted to share a quick story of how we've been extremely blessed the past couple weeks. It may seem small, but it's worth sharing!
So, in August when Cora was born, Mark took 2 weeks off of work. This time was un-paid. We knew that it would be hard to loose out on that money, but we felt it was important for him to do. And man, i'm so glad he did.
Anyways, we didn't really realize all the upcoming needs we had. All of us needed winter coats (which aren't always the cheapest things!) Plus other clothing needs. We hadn't thought of this in advanced. Anyways, Money was tight..and we weren't sure how we would do all this, but we just looked at our finances and were determined to figure it out.
Then, one day at Mark's work, they were cleaning out his lost and found and were going to donate all the stuff to goodwill. In it, Mark found a NICE winter coat for himself. One need fulfilled.
Then- one day at work, my boss gave me a gift card to Lands End. For no reason. Just to be a blessing. And i bought a winter coat with it. Another need fulfilled.
Then I went to Once upon a child and sold some old clothes and supplies and got Cash for them...and i found a winter coat for Owen in which I didn't pay a dime out of pocket for. Third need fulfilled.
Cora had previously been given a little winter body suit.
How cool is that? God totally provided us with our coats for this year! :o) And more years to come!
