Weekend.

1.Went to Riley's 3rd birthday party.

2.Owen broke 2 dozen eggs.

3.Cora napped in her own bed for the first time ever.  Still has yet to sleep a night in her own bed...baby steps!

4.I went grocery shopping.

5.Mark got a brand new 800 dollar guitar for 50 dollars.


My life is super exciting...i know. :)

Trial after trial after trial

life is funny. I feel like we can't get away from trials lately.


Having 2 children has been a big trial.  I'm still not *quite* in the swing of things.


Then, we were told 1 day before Cora was born that Mark's work place would be shutting down on December 31st. Well-yesterday, he was told that it is actually shutting down on September 30th.  SURPRISE! After lots of tears and prayers, we learned that Mark has been asked, along with just a few others, to stay employed there until October 28th, to help pack up boxes, do closing errands, etc.  We are praising God for an extra month of employment.  We trust Him to take care of us, however, that doesn't mean that we aren't scared.  Prayers appreciated.  It seems like this job-loss has come at the most inconvenient time..the time where we have medical bills pouring in from our littlest blessing.  The time where we are buying diapers and baby supplies times two!


The good news in all of these trials, is that we love and hold on tight to each other through & through.  I have such a perfect little family-and i'm holding on to that! :)

Gassy.

Cora is 3 weeks old today.  Its been a crazy three weeks.  And it's amazing how different my babies are from one another.
Owen was the most laid- back "chilled out" baby.  Cora, on the other hand-is not!  She is quite the demanding little lady!  Wants to be held all the time, and is having major gas issues.  I hate it...seeing her squirm with discomfort and scream out is heart wrenching!  So we are dealing with lots and lots of fussing, which puts everyone on edge.  She is such a sweet girl though, and we are so smitten with her.  It's weird having to deal with such a "touchy" miss when i'm used to a totally "go with the flow" babe.
