Whelp, today is the due date!! 

But...no baby yet.  I've come to the conclusion that it is a-okay.  This afternoon i told God that he is a better parent then i am and that he knows what day this little goober is supposed to come.  His plan is much better then mine (even though sometimes i don't act like it.)  SO i'm going to wait patiently.  I know things will go according to his plan.  Meanwhile, i'm so excited!! This baby is on his way..and soon! :)

40 weeks is baby time.

I can't believe how much i've grown.

It's crazy to me how much my tummy has grown in such a short amount of time.  When i first got pregnant, i waited and waited for my belly to start really showing, and i felt like it NEVER would!!  You can see some women's "baby bump" when they are like 16 weeks along...but no, not mine!  The picture of me in the red is me at 32 weeks!!  That's well over 1/2 way done with the pregnancy, and my belly was just STARTING to poke out.  (I was sooo excited!)  The next picture is me at 34.5 weeks, and the last is me at 38 weeks!! So in just about 6 weeks, i really really started poping!!  

I complained so much at first that i wanted my belly to show, but as it actually started to, i learned that i was SO THANKFUL he waited as long as he did..because having a big heavy belly is NOT even close to one of the most comfortable things in life.  :)

Hey All.

6 more days to go before the due date.  Pretty exciting, and a little nerve-wrecking too.  I don't have a picture to post this week.  It looks the exact same as the 38 week belly anyway!  Mark and i did have our friend take some portraits of us this past weekend so we could have some good formal shots of the pregnancy and they are beautiful!! I'm really excited to get them and develop them so you guys can see them!  :)

Doctor appointment went well this week.  I'm now 2.5 cm dialated, and i'm 70% effaced.  She says that Owen will probably be making his apperance right at due date if not a few days later.  She also said that she won't let me go too far past my due date and then we'll discuss induction.  I'm really hoping it just happens naturally.  I think i'd prefer that.  BUT, Owen is proving to be rather stingy, and he loves staying up in my ribs--so, we'll see!

We are doing well.  I've stopped working and am just spending these days resting and trying to get the apartment all ready!  I'm not really sleeping at night, so there are lots of frequent naps during the day.  Mark is working about 12 hour days right now, and that's pretty hard for us-however it's a blessing none the less that he has a job. :)

I promise i don't wear this shirt EVERY DAY.  It just makes my belly look a little more pregnant then other shirts, so  i like to kind of show it off, hehe.
Hey All. Heres the latest update; we went to the doctor this morning, and i've dialted one more cm. The doctor says that he looks like he'll be coming right about the due date (March 4th) so we are looking at about 13 more days. We are getting so anxious--and i'm so uncomfortable, i'd love it if he could be born today! But, we'll be patient. I'm experiencing some more contractions that are a TINY bit more painful then the ones i've been having up until now. I guess it's a good sign tho that baby is getting ready. Mark and i are doing well and are very excited! :)

37 weeks people!!

this is 36 weeks.

Hey Guys.

I'm 37 weeks now!!! (The picture is me at 36 weeks.  It looks kinda funny cuz the shirt just hangs off my baby bump..so it's not real defined.) It seems so surrel that this has gone sooo fast.  I can remember sitting in the car and telling Adam and in Kim and Tim's apartment, and just all our family members and their reactions.  It's hard to imagine we are almost all done!!

Having doctor's appointments weekly now.  I kind of feel like he is going to come early...but then again it may just be wishful thinking.  I don't know tho..last week i was 50% efaced.  To spare grossing anyone out..this just means that i'm 50% there until i start dilating..and that's labor time!! Ahh! so crazy.  We have an appointment this thursday and we'll find out more!! We are just so excited.  The doctor says he will probably be about a 7 lb baby.  That's good news to us!  Especially to me...lol.  Not too big!! and not too un-healthy small!!

I'm feeling pretty uncomfortable.  This whole pregnancy i haven't gotten too big and all the sudden this past couple months i've just POPPED!  It's kinda hard getting to sleep, and i'm expereincing some "practice labor contractions"...so weird!!

Whelp..i'm currently 36 weeks.  The doctor says the baby can come any day now.  This is such an exciting time for Mark & I.  Not to mention a bit stressful.  We are frantically getting ready for Owen.  I am just so ready to meet him..even though he is still inside me, i feel like i know his personality a little bit.

We had labor classes this weekend..kind of grusome, but helped us feel more prepared none the less.

Owen is healthy and doing well.  I am doing well too and feeling pretty well.  Sleeping is really uncomforatable, and i can't breathe well due to all the pressure on my lungs/ribs area.  He always is sticking his little feet up there! :)  At least i'm not throwing up!  I have to remember that!!!
