Catch Up

Sorry i've been a bit sparatic in my postings lately.  I'm not able to keep up to date as well as I'd like to due to the fact that we are still computerless..but hopefully that will change soon due to the wonderful tax refund! :o)


Biggest News I currently have..Our little dude turned one yesterday!  We had a family photo shoot, and the pictures turned out awesome, thanks to our good friend Michael Coon.  (pictures to come!) OWEN TOOK 3 STEPS ON HIS OWN ! i'm so proud of him..we know he'll be walking too soon!  We had an AWESOME day and did lots of "firsts"
1. first hair cut
2. first cake
3. first mac& cheese
4. first pizza!  :o)
So to catch you up a bit..let's start in feburary...


with fat tuesday. we devorued boxes of these...with the help of adam, dan, & erin.

btw, did you know these aren't a big deal at all in nashville?  We couldn't even FIND them at a store last year..weird!

then, there was valentines day....(see, i told you i'm reallly behind)

i made this yummy looking cookie cake for mark :)

we got owen some bubbles, which may sound lame, but i assure you, he LOVED them!

we've also been working hard on our house which is still unfinished. it's a sloooow process. Our downstairs bathroom is the ONLY room 100% finished..here are the before and after pictrues

I'm also quite proud of the upstairs bathroom as well!  It is basically finished, we are just wanting to put some art/pictures up on the wall.

Owen is 1 now!! wahooo!! He crawls up our steps alll the time! Don't worry, he hasn't fallen, and yes, we do sit behind him as he crawls up! :)

We had nestor stay with us for a few days while my mom was in FL visitng my grandma, and MAN! owen and nestor had wayyy too much fun together!

I think that Owen had more fun then nestor...he was always chasing him!
