Welcome to Our New Home.

Mark& I recently found the perfect house for us!  we move in on February 17th, and man! i'm so excited.  I fell in love with this house when the dude was showing it to us, and i'm so thankful we got it!  (we are renting it buy the way..we didn't purchase a home)  It's a 3 bedroom (could be made into a 4th bedroom) and 1.5 bath house in Granger.

Here are a few pictures of our new place (please be aware that these pictures are all PRIOR to painting..so the "before" pictures. )

This is the Front of the House:

This is the back entrance to the house (where Mark can keep his grill and we can have cook-outs! Yay come on summer!~)

There is a little play-yard in our backyard!! I'm very excited about this!! Owen's gonna have so much fun once it gets warm out!
And above is our garage!!! (with my car parked in it) I'm really excited to have a garage..this means no wiping snow off cars in the cold mornings! Yay

When I say that we live close to the credit union..i really mean it!  It's practically in our front yard! (see it behind mark?)

When you come in the back door, turn directly to your right, and you'll come into the Kitchen!

complete with a bread cabinet.  ha! Mark was really thrilled about that.

Directly leaving the Kitchen, you'd enter the Living Room!
This next picture is me standing in the kitchen showing you the entrance to the living room (you can also see the front door)

Also on the bottom floor is the full bathroom:
 (exciting..i know)
notice how the door is already child-proofed. ha. (we didn't do that, it was left there)

Bathroom storage space

Also on the first floor is one bedroom, and the dining room, Here's a pic of the dining room:

And bedroom number one:

don't you love the built in shelving?
And now we'll go upstairs to the other bedrooms and half bath!

There is a HUGE storage closet up there, and then a little area with more built in shelving, it could be perfect for a little upstairs play area!

This is a view from the top of the steps, it shows bedroom number 2 and 3.  The are joined by a little walk-thru closet.  So perfect for a second baby right? (and no...i'm NOT pregnant)  The half bath is also up here (it's on the right..see the door knob?)  And we will be painting the half bath immediately, and your about to see why...  p.s i think the blue carpet room will probably be owens

and here is why we are painting the bathroom first and foremost:

HELLO bright pink!!! ah!

So there's also a big basement, BUT, i've already spent a REALLY long time uploading all these pics..so i've gotta run!  The basement has washer and dryer and a wet bar and an old canning room! ha. I love it!

We are super excited!

In other news, Owen is about 11 months old.  He's gotten 2 more teeth and is growing up like no other.  I'm currently always exhausted and living on coffee...and this is my newest life saver:

Thank the Lord for playpens.
Anyways, that's all for now!

Love you all.
