Before you are a parent, you ALWAYS hear people talk about how "time goes so fast" with kids. They "grow so quickly," "take lots of pictures"...you know, all those things that you roll your eyes about. (well, at least i did..until i had Owen.)
Now i'm sitting here almost 4 years later and can't believe where i'm at in life. Just one year ago today, i was packing my bags for the hospital.

and i was writing this blog entry:

and now, I have a baby girl who is turning ONE.
So, on the eve of her birthday, i'm a mess. Just like i always am when one of my babies has a big event happen. Tonight, i'll rock my infant to sleep for the last time before she's 1. It's not only that, but we are planning on this being the last child, so it's hard to think about not ever having a "tiny baby" again. Then, i'll watch home videos and cry. :)
She isn't walking yet, but she's scaling furniture like a pro. She EATS EATS EATS and EATS. She's getting pretty good with a sippy and we are slowly transitioning to whole milk, which she is doing perfect at. Still just 2 teeth and still just saying "Da-Da, Ma-Ma, Bu-Bu, and now.."pop pop" ha! :) She HATES wearing shoes, and she loves playing with her brother and other kiddos! I'm sure within a few weeks, everything will be different, because, if i may be totally clique...it goes so fast!! :)
She is such a miracle in my life. My heart is bursting at the seams with love for this little girl. I thank the Lord for the children that he's given me. Even though they aren't always easy, they are so perfect.
If only i could freeze time!
I love you, Cora Rose.
Happy Birthday.
